Finding your way
The town view, the bars around it, and where each part of the game lives.
The town is the home screen
Your town is a painted valley, and every building in it is clickable. Clicking a building opens what it does:
| Building | Opens |
|---|---|
| Town hall | Construction for every building |
| University | Research |
| Castle | Your army: move troops between the field and the fortress, attack, and send spies |
| Barracks, archery range, stable, workshop | Training troops |
| Temple | Your chests |
| Town centre | Feasts, which lift happiness |
| Market | Trading resources for gold |
| Bank | Loans and deposits |
| Depot Station | Moving resources between your provinces, and sending gold to another player |
| Farm, houses | Food and housing |
| Lumbermill, iron mine, stone quarry | Workers and production |
The town grows with you. As your castle rises in level, the whole town changes its look.
The top bar
Across the top of the town:
- Population, happiness and tax. Click happiness to see everything that moves it, and click tax to change it.
- Your wood, iron, stone and gold. Click them for production and storage details.
Every number that changes over time counts up live, and every job in progress shows a timer.
The left rail
- Profile: your player profile.
- Map: the world around you. Search for players, check distances and read the terrain of each tile.
- Empire: your whole empire at a glance.
- Ranking: players and alliances by points and by military strength.
- Messages: private mail, reports from the game, your alliance board and announcements.
- Quests: the starting guide, then your goals and rewards.
- Alliance: members, treasury, research and the Tribune board.
- Provinces: switch between your provinces.
Settings sits in the bottom left corner.
The corner buttons
Buttons appear in the bottom right corner while something is running: Constructions for buildings in progress and Training for troops in training. With more than one province, Assign workers appears here too.
Server time
Below the town is the server clock in UTC. Click it to open Server: your world, its speed, the current day and when the world ends.
